Finance Department, Government of Assam focuses immensely in capacity building to the departmental employees' at all level, other government employees regarding fiscal discipline and common citizen through various modes.
Among the various capacity building initiatives, some major initiatives are:
Central Training Institute (CTI) is under the administrative control of the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries. The Assam Finance Service Officers and other Government officials responsible for Finance and Accounts Administration are given training in this institute.
Training Hall at Finance Department: The Training Hall in the 1st Floor, F Block, Assam Secretariat was inaugurated on April 19, 2016 by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam. The facility has been specially designed keeping in mind the training needs of the both departmental and other department employees of the Government of Assam. The state-of-the-art hall is equipped with over head projector, sound systems, and personal computers for hands on training for various e-Governance projects initiated by the Finance Department.
Recently the training imparted to various administrative departments and head of departments on the ceiling module are as follows:
Training Management Software: To put the information of the attendees of various training programmes. The e-Governance Unit is maintain a software for maintain information of the trainees, training materials etc for long term use in capacity building of the employees of Govt of Assam.
